Face your pain

The loneliest feeling in the world is pain suffered from a broken heart.  Only those who have ever experienced a broken heart can truly relate to the broken-hearted.  There are simply no words of comfort at such a time.  This pain must be faced alone…

You cry out in the night; there are tears on your pillow.  It really does not matter who might hear or see your pain.  For the one who broke your heart – does not.

Oh how I dearly wish I could offer you words of comfort.  I wish there were words to magically make your pain go-away from you.  However, you and I both know, there is none.  All you can do is to face your pain head-on…

Good news is, it is only by facing your pain that your heart will ever mend.  There are all sorts of therapies and self-help groups, however those are but Band-Aid solutions.  After a while, your heart will be patched-up by so many Band-Aids, that if one should blow on it – it will fall apart in little pieces.  Now where will that get you?

Look deep within yourself.  Find the strength and the courage within yourself – to face your pain.  It is by facing your pain that the deep cut he made into your heart left behind – could ever heal.  By facing your pain, you will remove the knife he placed there in your heart.  Do not worry, you will not die.  You will get better one day…

This too shall pass!  God or the Universe is not punishing you.  Along our journey through life, there are pains and sorrows along with the joys and happiness.  No one ever promised you a rose garden (click on the link to hear the song by Lynne Anderson, the words to a disappointed wife).

I am not going to lie to you; some people are mean and despicable.  Some people do put us under the bus, and stab us in the back.  Shit happens!

Face your pain.  Ask yourself where it hurts the most.  In what did he hurt you the most?  Take the time that you need to let the “Fool Pain” show you where it hurts the most for you.  Take the time to feel it…

You cannot move forward, if you are not aware of your pain.  You need to first feel the thorn in your heart.  You need to pluck it out.  Your heart needs time to mend and heal.  You will need time to regain your strength.  Then and only then can you hope to move on from there.

This too shall pass!  However, until then, face your pain.  Look at your truth straight in the eyes.  Let it speak to you.  Let it show you in what domains of your life you are human and frail.  And where you can grow stronger.  You loved, you trusted; and he was not man enough to cherish and protect your love and your trust for him…  You have been betrayed, you fall to pieces.  Face your pain, and take the time to heal from this… (Click on Fall to Pieces, to listen to this woman’s song by Patsy Cline).

Pain is Mother Nature’s way of telling us something.  Mother Nature is telling you, “You have been patient and enduring”.  Nevertheless, he was just not the right kind of person.  Her antidote to your broken heart?  Love yourself more, and forgive yourself for having loved him so much.

Country Western music is the best music to help with facing your pain.  They are world-famous for being crying songs.  While listening to them, you cannot help but face your pain, and to see where you hurt the most.  Click on She’s Got You, by Patsy Cline.

Reversed Pain Fool:

They say that pain is a teacher.  However, to make pain the focus of your life is an addiction.  To suffer countless heartbreaks for as long as what can seem as an eternity, “diminishes your growth and healing.

It may very well be that you suffered heart breaks from childhood into teenage hood, and well throughout adulthood.  Ask the Pain Fool why he is still hanging around?  He was supposed to have come for just a short visit, not an eternity.  Tell him you are kicking him out of your life!

It is time for you to start looking at the blueprint of your emotional life.  If you see excessive sorrow, go back to the drawing board.  It is time for you to start redrawing the lines, and to change the picture.

Look for the light at the end of the dark tunnel, and let it come to you.  The light at the end of the tunnel will bring you to joy and happiness!

You just cannot make the world to go away, but you can face it.  You can face the pain.  (Click on the Make the World Go Away link, song by Eddy Harnold.

Fools Warning:

Learn from your pain, but do not suffer endlessly!
