Good news is, it is only by facing your pain that your heart will ever mend. There are all sorts of therapies and self-help groups, however those are but Band-Aid solutions. After a while, your heart will be patched-up by so many Band-Aids, that if one should blow on it – it will fall apart in little pieces. Now where will that get you?
Look deep within yourself. Find the strength and the courage within yourself – to face your pain. It is by facing your pain that the deep cut he made into your heart left behind – could ever heal. I am not going to lie to you; some people are mean and despicable. Some people do put us under the bus, and stab us in the back. Shit happens!
Face your pain. Ask yourself where it hurts the most. In what did he hurt you the most? Take the time that you need to let the “Fool Pain” show you where it hurts the most for you. Take the time to feel it…
You cannot move forward, if you are not aware of your pain. You need to first feel the thorn in your heart. You need to pluck it out. Your heart needs time to mend and heal. You will need time to regain your strength. Then and only then can you hope to move on from there.
This too shall pass! However, until then, face your pain. Look at your truth straight in the eyes. Let it speak to you. Let it show you in what domains of your life you are human and frail. They say that pain is a teacher. However, to make pain the focus of your life is an addiction. To suffer countless heartbreaks for as long as what can seem as an eternity, “diminishes your growth and healing.
