LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL
When you are alone and that things just went from bad to worst, know that it is not hopeless. When you feel discouraged, everything can seem pointless to you. If you don’t know who to go to for help now, you need to know about the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thing is, you are so busy looking at the darkness surrounding you, that you are looking at your feet while walking. When you only look at your feet, when walking, you don’t see ‘the Light at the end of the tunnel’… In the light at the end of the tunnel, there is hope for you.
Lift your eyes up, and look straight ahead in front of you! Look for ‘the Light at the end of the tunnel’… If you keep your eyes up from your feet, you will see it.
If you have ever gone through a dark train tunnel, then you know it can get pretty dark in there. When walking through the darkness of the tunnel, it is highly recommended you walk to one side of the train track. Because if a train comes through the tunnel, it will go through it very fast. And it will then go out through the other end.
In the darkness of the tunnel, when walking to one side of the tracks, you will often lose your sure footing. You will tend to lower your eyes so to look down to see where to step. It is so dark inside your train tunnel, that you don’t see one foot before the other; much less where to step. You will tend to be careful not to trip and fall. Thing is, if you don’t look straight ahead, you risk bumping into something… So you need to look-up anyways.
Look up and straight ahead of you – towards the end of the tunnel. You need to look at the end of the tunnel, so to see ‘the Light at the end of the tunnel’. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel!
In the darkness inside the tunnel, as you walk along the tracks, you need to always keep at the front of your mind that – just as much as there had been day-light at the entrance of the train tunnel, there will also be day-light at the other endl. It’s a no brainer! What goes in, much come out…
Keeping your head tall while walking in the dark, and looking straight ahead of you while walking along the tracks, you will eventually begin to see ‘the Light at the end of the tunnel’. The Light at the end of the tunnel represents hope! You need to always look straight ahead to see ‘hope’… So, stop looking at your feet as you walk along by the side of the track, in the dark.
Raise your eyes up, and look straight ahead of you. Keep looking towards the end of the tunnel. And soon enough, you will see that there is so a light of hope at the end of the tunnel!
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
